Responsiveness
We try to see ourselves from your perspective. We know you are usually pressed for time and need our help without delay. We are absolutely committed to delivering the services you require in the shortest possible time frame. If we cannot do this, we will help you find someone who can. This is a promise we will not break.

Current Focus
Our current emphasis is on challenging and unusual projects including long-span timber trusses and heavy timber frame design. We do not typically provide “broad-scope” engineering and drafting services on large projects. We prefer to review plans that have already been prepared and then provide structural framing plans. If the structural framing plans have already been drawn, we can “red-line” them for drafting by others. This approach minimizes structural engineering design costs and you have what you need to get the job done in the shortest possible time frame.

Experience
Each project receives our collective experience designing more than 4,000 structural projects over a period of approximately 40 years. This design experience is also complimented by previous work experience doing structural sales engineering, structural subcontracting, truss fabrication, and general contracting.

Teamwork
We believe the best designs result from a close collaboration between the owner, designer, builder and engineer. Each team member brings a unique perspective to the evaluation, assessment, choice and cost of each design option so that the owner can make a well-informed decision.

Conflict Resolution
We are experienced in forensic engineering and have provided expert testimony on a few occasions. However, we would prefer to bring our talent and experience to bear on helping the parties reach a mutually beneficial agreement.

Fees
We believe our fees are competitive. We bring a lot of experience to the table. Most of our projects are done on an hourly rate basis. We will be glad to provide a budget or guaranteed maximum price once we have an opportunity to review your plans.
